Face cleansers are generally a boring but entirely necessary evil. If you’re looking to spice up your skincare routine with something that will definitely make your senses say “WOW!” Look no further…

Aloe Milk Gentle Cleanser $28.00 CAD/ 50 ml

Behind The Brand

Graydon is a Canadian Skincare brand that believes in “plant-powered” ingredients. Where the ingredients work in harmony with your skin to nurture and provide a life forceIn a nut shell, Graydon provides food for your skin.

A few things about Graydon skincare really stand out to me: when possible they choose to source from Canada, their products are EWG verified and they strongly believe in high quality products.

About the Aloe Milk Cleanser

The Graydon Aloe Milk Cleanser is a 3-in-1 treatment to condition skin, provide anti-inflammatory benefits and deep clean pores. It’s a soft cream cleanser that you can feel moisturize the skin while you wash your face.

Just like the Green Cream and the Keto Cleanse, the Aloe Milk Cleanser is EWG Verified.

Key Ingredients

Perilla Seed Oil

Also known as Japanese Mint, this oil helps to protect the skin barrier and prevent water loss. It is also rich in omega-3 and polyphenols which can help with anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant benefits.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has been known as an amazing ingredient to soothe and hydrate skin.

Essential Oils of Pink Grapefruit, Geranium and Blood Orange

A blend of oils that will awaken your senses (no, really!) when you use this in your morning skincare routine. Geranium and citrus are also great for toning the skin.

How Does it Work?

The Graydon Aloe Milk cleanser is a smooth cream cleanser which has a very awakening scent; perfect for your morning skincare routine. The Citrus is strong and uplifting-which may be considered too strong for people with sensitivities to fragrance. I however, enjoy it.

This cleanser left my skin feeling hydrated. Especially while traveling. Somehow when you’re traveling on airplanes the water seems to be sucked right out of you, leaving your skin like the desert. Thankfully this combined with the Green Cream didn’t leave me with any dry or patchy skin.

Ultimately, I do thoroughly enjoy this and I can imagine that it would be well suited for someone with dry skin. Or who suffers from dry patches during change of the seasons.

Packaging

Just like the Green Cream this is packaged in a super travel-friendly pump container. Which in the past I wouldn’t have been upset about! However, now knowing that I cannot recycle it I am a bit bummed.

Unless you’re also on your minimal/low-waste journey I wouldn’t let that deter you too much from trying out this cleanser. Hopefully in the future products packaged like this can be recycled!

Overall, I am quite impressed by the Graydon Aloe Milk Cleanser. I think it would be a great switch from the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Cream Cleanser if you are looking to switch to more natural products and love a citrus-scented face wash!
