It’s been a hectic month or so and this post is just to get you all up to speed… and because I don’t actually have anything else prepped to go up for this week! So let’s get into what’s happened since the end of April, shall we?

Finishing School

At the end of April I finally finished my degree and to finish it up we had a year-end thesis show in order to showcase our work. I will be attending graduation in June to pick up my very expensive piece of paper!

In mid-May we moved to a new city that is three hours from where we lived before. This is a huge change because we finally have a whole house to ourselves and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to unpack (and to be honest this has been the biggest reason for being so MIA.)

At our new house we have a nice outdoor patio and garden space… and with the weather being so nice we’ve spentΒ a lot of time outside! We’re hoping to pick up a BBQ soon and that way we can really enjoy the outdoors.

Sometimes planning ahead works out well! I started sending out resumes as soon as we found out where my boyfriend was being posted (he’s in the military) and it paid off. One day after moving in, I started working full-time which means that at the end of the day I’ve been way too pooped to come to my computer and type a blog post! Let alone even take pictures! Luckily having a job means that I can spend all my money and get started decorating and designing our house (I LOVE it!)

I think that catches us all up to speed! Basically I’ve beenΒ really busy trying to become a full-fledged adult… and for the most part I think it’s working out well. It’s been hard to sit still and find the time to just type out a post and edit pictures because there’s so much I want to do with the space around me / spend time in the summer sun! Thank you to all my lovely-blogger friends/ readers that have been supporting me during this busy time!

Would you guys be interested in reading some home design/ DIY type posts? We’ve been doing a lot of work around the house and I would love to share it… but only if someone is going to enjoy it as much as I do! FYI I’m going to take some pics for a yesstyle haul post that will be up later this week as well, so stay tuned!

Have a wonderful week, friends!
